Today I asked the class to write a question about their home. The objective of this activity was for the kids to review the things I have taught them thus far. I was looking for questions that started with a capital, whether or not the students were able to create a sentence that actually asked something, and if they end their question with a question mark. They then turned it in.
I had to read the following question a few times before I understood:
"Do you like my homo?"
Our next lesson is going to be about how one letter DOES make a difference.
I am so glad we are politically correct in our classroom! :-)
